Poland has become home to many migrants and refugees, especially from Ukraine and Belarus, whose lives have changed due to conflicts in their homelands 🌍
But what is their employment situation in Poland? 🤔
📈 Analysis by Gremi Personal shows that before the outbreak of conflict in Ukraine, 94% of Ukrainian migrants found employment in Poland. Currently, after two years of struggle, this rate has decreased to 64%.
Migrants’ earnings in Poland are increasing – in 2023, the average monthly salary ranged between PLN 3,000-4,000, although many still earn below PLN 3,000.
The wage increase is a result of rising minimum wage and low unemployment, and skilled professionals from Ukraine who speak Polish can compete for better job positions.
🛠️💬 We remind you that according to law, migrants employed in Poland should receive wages comparable to Polish workers in equivalent positions.
🤝 It is important to support integration and equality in the workplace. After all, diversity is our strength!
