According to the Law on Employment Promotion and Labor Market Institutions, a work permit defines the minimum salary for a given position held by a foreigner.
Therefore, if you want to increase the salary of a foreign worker, you do not need to obtain a new permit, as long as you do not modify other terms and conditions of employment. Increasing the salary, without modifying other working conditions, does not obligate you to inform the governor or apply for a new permit.
Moreover, the law indicates that an increase in working hours, with a commensurate increase in salary, also does not require a new work permit.
IMPORTANT: You can increase your salary or the number of working hours (for example, from part-time to full-time), with a proportional increase in salary, without the need for a new work permit
However, in the case of a reduction in work, a new permit is necessary.
